Venatus has spent Huntington’s Disease Awareness Week raising money as part of our year-long partnership with the Huntington’s Disease Association.
Taking place from the 15th – 21st May, the aim of the week was to shine a light on the illness and the support available to those living with it.
During the Monday morning commute members of our Ad Operations, Marketing, Sales and Business Development teams were out in force at Leicester Square with more than a few flower crowns. The figures are currently being compiled and the money will go towards supporting care for victims and research.
Throughout the week our windows were lit up in pink and green to represent the HAD colours, as part of the Light It Up 4 HD campaign that ran across the country.
Huntington’s Disease is a hereditary genetic condition that alters neurological patterns to effect movement, cognitive and behavioral patterns. The condition causes deterioration over time and there is currently no known cure. It is thought to affect about 7120 people in England and Wales.
