We are delighted to announce that we have been granted Gold Standard Certification by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) UK. The Interactive Advertising Bureau is the trade body for the online advertising industry throughout the US and Europe.
Initially announced at IAB Engage last year, the IAB’s Gold Standard initiative is designed to raise standards and improve the digital advertising experience, focusing on three issues facing the industry – ad fraud, brand safety and ad blocking. This is achieved through implementation of three existing initiatives, ads.txt, JICWEBS DTSG and The Coalition for Better Advertising’s Better Ad Standards.
In order to achieve Gold Standard certification, companies within the online advertising ecosystem must meet the compliance criteria relevant to their company. The Gold Standard Certification is regulated by the IAB Gold Standard Group, which is made up of cross-industry IAB members including publishers, agencies and ad tech companies.
We are pleased to have been awarded the certification given our commitment to ad quality, ad misplacement and brand safety. Alongside our IAB Gold Standard Certification, Venatus are also a registered global vendor for IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework, certified for brand safety as a member of JICWEBS DTSG and The Coalition’s Better Ad Standards framework.
